By default, posts on archive pages are sorted in reverse chronological order, which makes sense when the most recent post is usually the most relevant. However, for archives listing your discography and videos, it doesn’t always make sense to order them by the date they were published.
With that in mind, there are several options for changing the order of records and videos in AudioTheme.
Reorder Records
- Go to Discography → Archive
- Select one of the options for the Order by dropdown in the Archive Settings box
- Click the Update button
Reorder Videos
- Go to Videos → Archive
- Select one of the options for the Order by dropdown in the Archive Settings box
- Click the Update button
Custom Order
If you selected the Custom option for either archive, you will need to use a plugin to sort your posts. We recommend Simple Page Ordering (it works for custom post types, too).
